The tree, or group of trees can be big, beautiful, important, mysterious, sacred, historical, fabulous, quirky-looking or ancient. All sorts of trees will qualify for inclusion and in particular we are looking for trees with a story for example: rag trees; trees at holy wells, military trees; those of exceptional girth, height or age; any associated with historical events, people or structures; those which are important to our community. Your favourite images can be mailed to tidytownstrees@gmail.com. The images will be displayed at Listowel Town Library. Closing date for entries is Thursday 31st May. All sorts of trees will qualify for inclusion and in particular we are looking for trees with a story for example: rag trees; trees at holy wells, military trees; those of exceptional girth, height or age; any associated with historical events, people or structures; those which are important to our community.
